Zenith Anorupatisu (辿異種アノルパティス) are Flying Wyverns.
This Zenith Species of Anorupatisu sports a more developed horn; it is thick at the base and tapers to an arrowhead-shaped tip. It has a larger fin on its back and has an additional, smaller fin behind it. The fins on its head and tail are larger as well. It also possesses longer spikes on its wings.
Zenith Anorupatisu rely much more heavily on its Dragon element in tandem with its Ice element, creating deadly Dragon-Ice element combo attacks. One of these attacks include an icy twister infused with Dragon element. Zenith Anorupatisu is more proficient in the use of its spiked horn as a weapon. One of its attacks include flying at its enemy will spinning like a drill. The spikes on its horn can be launched at enemies and can be regrown countless times.
Anorupatisu are a part of the Flying Wyvern class. A class that includes the likes of Barioth and Gurenzeburu.
These Flying Wyverns have only been seen inhabiting the Polar Sea in the Old World.
Anorupatisu are deadly apex predators that roam the frozen wasteland flying through the air or tunneling through the ice in search of prey. These predators must eat a large amount of food in order to control their body temperatures and survive the extreme cold. Common prey includes fish, squid, hammerhead sharks, Giaprey, along with Pokara and Poka. But when attempting to prey on Pokara and Poka, these wyverns are at risk from attacks from large bull male Pokaradon. The large marine mammals are large and powerful enough to do serious harm to an Anorupatisu and there have been eyewitness accounts of the two beasts locked in combat. The deadly Giaorugu, Barioth, and Brachydios can also present problems for the wyverns and are fierce competitors for food and territory. Toa Tesukatora maybe one threat that Anorupatisu choose to avoid. But despite these challenges, Anorupatisu are powerful in their own right when utilizing their long barbed horns, talons, and elemental attacks. In fact, Anorupatisu are quite well known for attacking and even eating Pokaradon and Giaorugu.
Upon first glance, Zenith Anorupatisu have many of the same adaptions as Anorupatisu, however, there is a few differences between them. Unlike other Anorupatisu individuals, its horn has heavily developed in nature over the years, becoming longer and sturdier. The spikes that grow along the length of the horns are capable of being launch at attackers, impaling themselves in the target. The horns can grow back indefinitely. This saw-like horn can easily cut through foes in a single swipe, even slicing through the ground as it flies. Zenith Anorupatisu uses its Dragon element powers much more often than normal Anorupatisu, and even combines it with its Ice element attacks.
Like normal Anorupatisu, Zenith Anorupatisu are highly aggressive and territorial predators. They will recognize any other creature in the area as potential prey, even members of their own kind.
