Ogromtyv is a pterosaur-like Flying Wyvern that bears resemblance to pirates and is notable for raiding boats. They have access to the Wind element and are lead into battle by a larger alpha known as the Ogromtyv Captain. They can be found in any area where boats travel.
Physiology[]
Ogromtyv greatly resembles pterosaurs, most notably Sordes, having a slender head with long, pointed jaws, a short neck, a long tail, and wing membranes that are attached to its feet and between its legs. However, it has some differences to set itself apart from them. Its head possesses a long, frigatebird-like beak that is lined with needle-like teeth, and its wings are built like those of a skua, being long, pointed, and narrow in structure to allow for fast flight. It has a black crest vaguely similar in shape to a pirate hat, with the lower portion having red colouration that makes it resemble a bandana, and a large, foldable cluster of white, feather-like pycnofibers can be found on the back of it. A red gular pouch like those seen on magnificent frigatebirds lines its throat, with it being surrounded by a layer of muscle, and similar to a Seregios, it has zygodactyl feet with hook-like claws. Like a Kunpengopterus, it possesses an opposable thumb, and it has one of the largest wing-area-to-body-rate ratios among Wingdrakes, if not the largest.
Its upper body is primarily covered in scarlet skin and a dense, double-layered coat of fur-like pycnofibers, the latter of which has interlocking barbs in-between the pycnofibers that make up the undercoat; barbs found on the outer coat are instead loosely connected to the skin and can be easily detached like the feathers of a dove. Its wing membranes are white with grey spots on the areas closest to the torso and grey stripes near the tips of the wings, and small, dagger-like spikes can be found on the wings. Its lower body is entirely black, with its lower legs and feet being a darker shade and the, and it has a long, metallic grey, sabre-like tail that is used to stab and slash targets; in addition, a pair of forked, cartilaginous styliforms can be seen on its tail, with them being extended while it is in flight.

Ogromtyv is an active hunter, with its preferred targets being flying fish and small, terrestrial monsters that live near the surface, particularly those who have recently fed, eating both the monsters and their feed if it succeeds; however, it is also a kleptoparasite, stealing food, nest material, and valuables from other organisms, such as Citrapo, Jaggi, Genprey, Ludroth, and Zamite. it is vulnerable to being preyed on by larger monsters, such as Tetsucabra, Khezu, Plesioth, Zamtrios, Nargacuga, Rathian, Rathalos, Lagiacrus, Zinogre, Seregios, and Tigrex.
Behavior Towards Other Monsters[]
Ogromtyv is a thief by nature, stealing food and valuables from other organisms in order to survive, and it is highly opportunistic, taking any chance to strike it sees. It loyally follows the orders of the larger Ogromtyv Captain and assists it in hunts, but will defect to other Captains if it is mistreated in any way or if its current leader's title is usurped.

Ogromtyv can be seen pursuing and mugging other monsters, gathering materials to decorate its nests with, following Ogromtyv Captain around, and sharpening its tail and claws when undisturbed.

Abilities[]
Ogromtyv has access to the Wind element, using it through powerful gusts created by its wings, pressurized balls of wind fired from its mouth, and blades of wind fired from its saber-like tail. It is adaptable and an excellent flier, flying at speeds of up to 180 miles an hour, soaring without flapping its wings continuously, and being able to fly without rest for days. Its dense, barb-laden pycnofibers protect it from attackers, cutting into any that try to bite or grapple it, and its saber-like tail Its long, sabre-like tail provides it with great reach and can cut down foes from a distance. It can grapple foes with the aide of its opposable thumbs and hook-like claws without needing to ground itself, and can steal items by dive-bombing foes and grappling them.

Tail Slash
Ogromtyv swings its tail at the hunter twice in a row. This attack deals low-medium damage and has a 50% chance to inflict Bleeding. It has two variants, one where the monster stands on the ground with its back turned towards the hunter, and another where the monster is airborne, facing the hunter, and shifting its body to the side as it swings its tail.
Tail Stab
Ogromtyv stabs at the hunter with its tail. This attack deals low-medium damage and has a 50% chance of inflicting Bleeding. It only uses this attack when airborne.
Wing Gust
Ogromtyv swings its wings forward, creating a strong gust of wind that makes its way towards the hunter and kicks up debris. This attack deals low damage, inflicts Windblight, and creates wind pressure that requires Wind Res (Lo) to negate. Depending on the area, it may also inflict Waterblight (wet area), Iceblight (snowy area),or Earthblight (sandy area). It only uses this attack when airborne.
Wind Ball
Ogromtyv spits a ball of wind at the hunter. This attack deals low-medium damage and inflicts Windblight. Depending on the area, it may also inflict Waterblight (wet area), Iceblight (snowy area),or Earthblight (sandy area).
Wind Blade
Ogromtyv uses its tail to fire a crescent of razor-sharp wind at the hunter at the hunter. This attack deals low-medium damage, inflicts Windblight, and has a 50% chance of inflicting Bleeding. Depending on the area, it may also inflict Waterblight (wet area), Iceblight (snowy area),or Earthblight (sandy area).
Plundering Dive
Ogromtyv dive-bombs the hunter with its claws and wings pointed at them. This attack deals low damage upon contact and locks the hunter in place, acting as a pin of sorts, and the monster will repeatedly peck the hunter with its beak, dealing low damage with every peck. When the attack is finished, a random item will be stolen from the hunter's item pouch, and the monster will then try to fly away with the item, so the hunter must kill it quickly if they want the item back. If it succeeds in fleeing, the item will be permanently lost, but if killed in time, the hunter will immediately get the item back.
