A relative of turtles, this monster has a medium size like a Tetsucabra. It's covered with a hard dark grey plating, forming a rigid carapace on its body, which is covered with big spikes. Its head is big and has powerful jaws, while the legs are short and have rugged claws. The tail is quite long and ends in a mace.
Murgoth mostly attacks ramming, clubbing with its tail or extending its neck and snapping its foes. It can also recall its head and legs into its shell, making most attacks bounce off. However, setting a few large barrel bombs next to it, or aiming a few hammer blows to its side, hunters can make it roll over and attack its underside. The abdomen plate is vulnerable and can be broken like Gravios.
