Mortaur (ボムザミ, Bomuzami) are Carapaceons.
Physiology[]
Mortaur have green and brown exoskeletons with small spikes surrounding their heads. It has tubular forelimbs and a cuboid shell.
Abilities[]
Mortaur have the ability to shoot water from their forelimbs. However, they lack the power and precision that Sardar Mortaur possess, so they are not nearly as dangerous.
Behavior[]
Mortaur can be seen scavenging most of the time and will flee in the presence of predators.
Habitat[]
These Carapaceons are native to the Misty Peaks, Marshlands and Jungle of the Old World, and they are occasionally been seen in the Flooded Forest and Deserted Island of the New World as well.
Notes[]
- Using a Sonic Bomb or a Barrel Bomb will stun any nearby Mortaur.
- If a hunter is holding a torch, any Mortaurs in the area will follow the hunter with the torch.
- They can be seen eating from carcasses.
