Gemstone Emperor Lithotaur (エンペラーイワワミ亜種, Enperā Iwawami Ashu) is a Subspecies of Emperor Lithotaur.
Gemstone Emperor Lithotaur sports a purple exoskeleton with fuchsia or magenta claws. The rock on its back is now brown with green crystals sprouting from it.
Like Emperor Lithotaur, Gemstone Emperor Lithotaur uses the crystal-covered rock on its back for both offense and defense. It will occasionally leaves crystals on the ground that will explode after some time passes. Also like Emperor Lithotaur, Gemstone Emperor Lithotaur can spit a corrosive substance.
Gemstone Emperor Lithotaur is noticeably more aggressive than Emperor Lithotaur. It is more willing to smash its rock when fending off enemies.
These Carapaceons are usually found in the same areas as their normal counterparts, along with inhabiting the Deserted Island and Dunes.

Gemstone Emperor Lithotaur can be found inhabiting the Sunken Hollow, Dunes, Heaven's Mount, Marshlands, and the Ruined Ridge in the Old World. In the New World, they can be found at the Deserted Island and Misty Peaks.
Gemstone Emperor Lithotaur will readily prey on smaller animals and carrion. Because of their increased ferocity, it is more difficult for predators to prey on this creature.
Gemstone Emperor Lithotaur possesses many of the same adaptations as Emperor Lithotaur. Ithas shovel-like claws that they use for burrowing and warding off enemies. Gemstone Emperor Lithotaur uses a large rock instead to protect its soft rear. What separates the rock Gemstone Emperor Lithotaur's rock from Emperor Lithotaur's rock is that Gemstone Emperor Lithotaur's rock has crystals growing on its, hence the prefix "Gemstone." The source of the crystals seems to be a fluid that Gemstone Emperor Lithotaur produces in its body and secrets through its rear. The fluid seeps into the rocks and causes crystals to form. Gemstone Emperor Lithotaur can spit a corrosive substance.
