Fungatus are small Temnocerons that are exclusively encountered in the Mycelium Hills.
Physiology[]
Fungatus are small-sized Temnocerons that can only be encountered in the Mycelium Hills and will either pursue small prey at fast speeds or crawl and latch onto to larger monsters without them noticing to consume their blood. They resemble more of Ticks and Mites rather than Spiders thus, they can't produce webs so they instead dig and camouflage via the mushroom on their back to resemble just being another mushroom. They do this either to evade larger monsters that would target them or to ambush prey.
Behaviour[]
Extremely hostile and will pursue on sight to attempt to latch on and consume blood. This is due to the lack of creatures in the Mycelium Hills with the favoured blood type or temperature thus, humans are a number one target to these voracious predators.
