Ternaagis is a deadly snake wyvern that was first discovered in the New World.
Physiology[]
Ternaagis feature a viper-like head with an olive-coloured body: its only limbs are its wings that it uses often.
Behavior[]
Usually minds its own business as it slithers around the trees and flies from forest to forest. Ruthlessly fights whatever provokes it.
Abilities[]
A lot of its attacks consist of slithering through the trees and then striking at fast speeds with either bites, tail whips, or whacks. Its fangs contain a venom that is potently on par with the venom of an Espinas shell: thus can paralyse and poison the hunter if hit. They make very good use of the wings they retain with various aerial attacks at theri disposal.
Role in the Food Chain[]
Minimal - Extremely Low - Low - Average - (High) - Extremely High - Apex - Legend
Main Prey: Aptonoth
Arch-Rivals: Anjanath, Rathalos
Ecology[]
Habitat Range[]
Found anywhere with a large amount of foilage whether it be the Ancient Forest, Phantom Tropics, Eldritch Forest and the Enclave Jungle
Ecological Niche[]
A relentless opponent to those that provoke it: attacking with bites that can both poison and paralyse, extreme agility within the air, trees and ground and sheer brutality. These attributes allow it to even match against apex monsters such as Rathalos.
Biological Adaptations[]
Due to its size, its not as bulky as its closely the related cousin: the Goksuregis: it sacrifices physicality for agility. It also typically makes use of its wings far more often than Goksuregis.
