Oroshi Kirin is an elusive subspecies of the Kirin that harnesses frost instead of the electricity of the regular species.
Physiology[]
Unlike the standard Kirin, this subspecies' body is mainly a dark navy blue, with violet stripes throughout. Its mane is black with light purple tips and its eyes are a luminous red. In addition, its horn is larger, has pink-ish color and features a spiraling ridge from base to tip.
Behavior[]
Considerably more dangerous than the standard species as limited documentation on the Oroshi Kirin is said to be due to it killing the researchers that were studying it. Their manipulation of moisture in the air allows the beast to unleash seriously devastating attacks. Its been rumoured that an Oroshi Kirin froze an entire kingdom overnight but its unknown where these rumours come from.

Abilities[]
The lightning strikes of the base species are replaced with emerging ice shards for this subspecies, it can also manipulate the moisture in the air to perform even more devastating frost attacks, it also gains the addition of some water-based attacks.

Habitat Range[]
Oroshi Kirins habitat range isn't well understood or fully known but it has been sighted in areas like the Sacred Shores and the Lost Ruins.
Ecological Niche[]
Oroshi Kirin seemingly sits slightly higher up the food chain than the standard species as they have been known to successfully fend off or even kill Rajangs, beasts that are the predators of the regular species.
Biological Adaptations[]
Oroshi Kirin is able to manipulate cold air, allowing it to freeze the moisture in the very air around itself. By freezing the moisture around itself, Oroshi Kirin is able to summon shards of ice for defense against threats. Some Oroshi Kirin are even able to make freezing fogs appear in set areas, freezing would be attackers with snow. This ability comes from its horn which is able to lower surrounding air temperature. Due to this freezing ability Oroshi Kirin's color has changed to a dark, navy blue, the opposite of a Kirin's color.
Attacks[]
Note: Movement Speed increases by 1.25 when enraged.
Note: Oroshi Kirin does not have the armour mode of the regular Kirin but instead has a frigid mode, this frigid mode is occurs when Oroshi Kirin is enraged and basically makes it that being within the area vicinity of Oroshi Kirin will automatically apply a 'cold area' effect where the stamina decreases faster due to the colder temperatures. This mode lasts until Oroshi Kirin is out of rage mode or it has been poisoned (Hot Drinks do NOT counter the effects).
Ice Wall: Oroshi Kirin will summon a large wall of ice that can toss hunters high into the air and deals significant damage. The wall dissipates after several seconds.
Ice Scape: Oroshi Kirin will emit an ice alkali all across the area which makes it super slippery for the hunter when sprinting around it, the alkali lingers for several seconds before fading.
Frigid Mode[]
The Blizzard: The entire area vicinity of Oroshi Kirin will be engulfed in a foggy blizzard, this effect is a visual cue that Oroshi Kirin is in its 'frigid mode' and will apply the designated effects upon the hunters that are within the vicinity. The foggy blizzard dissipates when Oroshi Kirin is either poisoned or out of its rage mode.
Ice Shard Rain: Oroshi Kirin will have the ability to unleash clouds of rainwater and then freeze it before then making it rain sharp ice shards, these do not flinch the hunter but they do deal minimal damage that seriously builds up overtime.
Ice Shard Shootout: It will point its horn in a circular shape before creating 10 sharp ice shards that shoot out like a spreading shotgun.
The Fridge: If Oroshi Kirin is in the chiller mode and enraged, it will perform its signature attack called The Fridge. Oroshi Kirin will get to the centre of the area and cause the entire area to be clad in frosty mist which then transforms into a blizzard which instantly transforms the hunter into an ice statue (inflicted with Frost), as the hunter is in this state, their stamina will drop to zero and they will have to spam the analog stick in order to get out of the state, otherwise a massive row of ice spikes will shoot upwards in a lined fashion all across the entire area, the hunter is intended to get out of the state and superman dive or evade the ice spike barrage but if they don't, the ice spikes will deal extremely heavy damage. Oroshi Kirin will then get out of Rage Mode and out of the chiller state.
