Physiology[]
Arogelactos is an enormous Elder Dragon which towers over all but the largest of monsters. It has a body structure more commonly found in the Bypaldian class and its entire body is very muscular and covered in dark blue armor plating. It has several spikes growing out of its limbs and many going down its back. It also has large, sharp fingers and toes and a set of large draconic wings. It has a long draconic tail which is also lined with spikes on the top. It has several large horns on its head which form a sort of crown and it has glowing red eyes.

Arogelactos are very territorial monsters and will quickly try to take care of any monsters that would dare try to take its territory. It caused the creation of the Genesis Caverns and can thus easily find its way through the massive cavernous regions.

Placement in Food Chain[]
Arogelactos sit at the very top of the food chain in the habitats they're commonly found in, but due to the massive area the Genesis Caverns cover and the many entrances and exits it has, the Arogelactos can easily access other food chains where it will reign supreme. It's capable of doing this due to its immense size and power that comes paired with this size, allowing it to easily prey on a large variety of monsters from small ones to large and strong ones. Only very powerful monsters stand a chance against this Elder Dragon.
Behavior towards Other Monsters[]
Arogelactos' mere presence can cause almost every other monster to run away in fear when it enters an area and those stubborn enough to stay are quick to be taught the severity of their mistakes.

These tracks include "Titanic Prints", which can be found on the ground, "Cold Mist", which can be found floating around, "Frozen Shell", which can be found on the ground, "Freezing Membrane", which can be found on the ground, and "Glacial Ice", which can be found on the ground or on walls.
Specific Locale Interactions[]
In areas where large stalactites or ice chunks fall from the ceiling, Arogelactos might catch them as they're falling and utilize it as a weapon against foes.

Hunt Cutscene[]
- Location: Advent's Abyss
- Synopsis: The cutscene begins by showing the hunter entering Area 3 of the Advent's Abyss. The hunter looks around in awe at the massive area before they suddenly hear a loud noise which also causes the ground to shake. The noise slowly becomes louder and the ground also slowly starts to shake more until the hunter notices a massive, dark shadow walking down from the upper part of the area. They realize the shaking and noises are caused by this massive being of which they can only see the red eyes. The massive shadow jumps down from the upper part of the area causing the entire area to heavily shake which nearly throws the hunter off-balance. The hunter can then slowly see more of the giant shadow which is when they realize its the Arogelactos they have to take down. The Arogelactos growls at the hunter, releasing a cold mist from its mouth, after which it roars which marks the beginning of the hunt.
Ecology Cutscene[]
- Location: Arctic Ridge
- Synopsis: The cutscene begins by showing an area of the Arctic Ridge which is being hit by a heavy snowstorm. The cutscene then shows a Elderfrost Gammoth slowly making its way through the area. Suddenly, the Elderfrost Gammoth seems to notice something coming towards it in the heavy snowstorm as the cutscene shows a large silhouette. The silhouette then seems to cause the heavy snowstorm to clear up which reveals it to be an Arogelactos. The Elderfrost Gammoth roars at the Arogelactos, but it doesn't seem to be scared at all and charges towards the Elderfrost Gammoth. The Elderfrost Gammoth retaliates by slamming its large tusks into the Arogelactos which causes it to be knocked back, but it doesn't seem deterred at all and immediately goes back on the offensive. The Elderfrost Gammoth tries to hit the Arogelactos again, but this time it moves out of the way and grabs the tusk of the Elderfrost Gammoth. The Arogelactos kicks the Elderfrost Gammoth while still holding onto its tusk which causes a large portion of the tusk to break off and sending the Elderfrost Gammoth tumbling to the ground. The Arogelactos slowly walks up to the Elderfrost Gammoth, but is then hit by the Fanged Beast's powerful trunk. The Arogelactos, however, now seems to be agitated as it grabs the trunk with one arm and then starts causing its other arm to glow brightly. As the Arogelactos is about to hit the Elderfrost Gammoth's head, the camera quickly pans up as a loud explosion and crunch can be heard before the camera quickly fades to black. The cutscene then shows the Arogelactos in the distance while it's pulling the Elderfrost Gammoth with it and entering a large cavern as the cutscene starts slowly fading to black.
Abilities[]
Arogelactos are massive Elder Dragons which give them immense physical strength that can easily shake the ground and allows them to rip giant boulders out of the ground which it can throw at foes. Arogelactos are also capable of using their massive wings to cause powerful gusts of wind, but they are incapable of flight due to their immense size. They are also capable of breathing out a kind of cold mist which weakens a foe's protection to cold. Arogelactos' primarily ability is that they can emit a kind of cold energy which allows it to cool down the area around it, freezing it to ice-cold temperatures and thus creating areas of ice. When angered enough, this energy will become much more intense as the Arogelactos starts causing large explosions of this energy and firing it out in beams. This is signified by its body parts glowing brightly. This Elder Dragon is said to be even capable of freezing entire ecosystems and some say even causing a global ice age.

Due to Arogelactos' massive size, it can be mounted on its head, its back, its legs and its tail.
When Arogelactos is mounted on its head, the hunter will either be located between its large horns on the back of its head or on either side of its head. The Arogelactos will try to get hunters off by violently shaking its head around, by trying to grab the hunter and by slamming the side of its head into walls.
When Arogelactos is mounted on its back, the hunter will be located between the Arogelactos' large wings and amongst the large spikes on its back. The Arogelactos will try to get hunters off by violently shaking its back, by trying to grab the hunter, by slamming its back into walls and by rolling over the ground.
When Arogelactos is mounted on its legs, the hunter will be located on the back of the Arogelactos' legs. The Arogelactos will try to get hunters off by shaking its legs, by stomping around and by trying to grab the hunter.

Arogelactos is an immense Elder Dragon, both in size and power, which has been mentioned in legends since in ancient times. One of these legends goes as follows:
"Legends speak of three powerful monsters that created the planet long ago. A mighty Elder Dragon that formed the planet from debris. A Bird Wyvern that created the sun and cast light down onto the dark rock. A lengthy Snake Wyvern that created gravity and electricity. These three titans went into hiding after forming the planet, but their existence is mere rumors. Or so they say."
The other two monsters mentioned in this legend are thought to be Aphóri Ezéth and Horakhy'aten.
Habitat Range[]
Arogelactos have been primarily found in the Advent's Abyss which is the deepest part of the Genesis Caverns, but it's thought that many other areas like this exist under the Genesis Caverns. The Genesis Caverns are the primary hunting grounds of the Arogelactos, but due to the caverns covering a massive area, it's theorized that Arogelactos can be found hunting in several other arctic areas and some think even areas which aren't arctic. If an Arogelactos were to be in one of these areas, it would cause immense devastation due to its power being on par with that of Major Elder Dragons. Arogelactos have also been located in the Polar Field and the Frozen Forest.
Ecological Niche[]
Very little is known about the ecology of these massive Elder Dragons, but it's thought that due to their immense size and power, they can easily prey on just about anything in the areas it hunts in. These include small monsters like Bullfango, Giaprey and Blango and large monsters like Bulldrome, Giadrome, Lagombi and Great Baggi. Large and strong monsters like Jade Barroth, Aviarctin, Blangonga and Zamtrios are also thought to be likely prey for this giant. Some say even monsters as large and powerful as Tigrex, Gammoth, Barioth, Glacial Agnaktor and Voluron are possible prey for this mighty Elder Dragon.
The Elder Dragon's immense power allows it to not have to worry about any predators wherever it goes as even monsters like Rajang and Deviljho won't immediately approach an Arogelactos. Despite this, Arogelactos still has to compete with several other powerful monsters which include the likes of Elderfrost Gammoth, Frostempress Aviarcta, Ukanlos, Jiakoruboru, Toa Tesukatora and Vraoutos. If a battle were to occur with any of these powerful monsters however, an Arogelactos would be sure to put up a good fight with its immense size and power.
Biological Adaptations[]
Arogelactos are titanic Elder Dragons which have an immense amount of physical power due to this size. They have developed a very thick shell which protects their entire body. Their immense size allows them to easily throw giant boulders towards their foes. They have also developed a set of giant wings which allows them to create giant bursts of powerful wind. The tail of an Arogelactos is very long, allowing it to pack a serious punch when swung at threats. Arogelactos have also developed a kind of energy which allows them to freeze areas around them quickly, generating large amounts of ice. This energy becomes much more intense as the Arogelactos becomes agitated which is signified by the glowing of its body parts. When this happens, the energy can be used to fire off large beams, blasts and explosions at foes which can quickly cause them to be frozen in place. Arogelactos are also capable of breathing out a sort of cold mist which weakens the foe's resilience to ice.
