Blaite are Medusians exclusively found in the Draconic Mausoleum.

| Whatever the Blaite come across that cannot fight back, they view as savoury dishes. Strange among cell-like Medusians for having an almost fleshy body, they process a mouth similar to that of a Ganqeon. Entirely carnivorous, they eat any sort of carrion that they see, avoiding hunting prey itself due to their vulnerability. | |
Blaite are pulsating grey blobs with a single eye at the top of its body that is orange with a red pupil. They also have two small horns by the side of the eye and have red markings around the eye and horns. At the bottom of the body an extendable mouth with small, sharp, brown teeth protrudes. Unlike most other Celloids, its cytoplasm is non-transparent.
Behaviour[]
Blaite form swarms for protection against the many deadly predators that roam the location. They are always found in areas away from other monsters in caution of being suddenly attacked. When an area clears after a hunt has taken place, Blaite move in to feed off what remains of the slain prey. In large swarms, Blaite are able to fight back and can turn the shift of predator to themselves if they restrain the attacker.
If endangered and alone, they can climb walls to escape.
Attacks[]
- Leap: Blaite will jump into a target with wide range. If its mouth is extended, the build up will have a slight delay and will be chained into the Devour Flesh attack should it hit.
- Devour Flesh: The Blaite attaches to the target with its mouth and plants itself on it. With each bite, the Blaite pulsates, doing minor and rapid damage. Hunters and monsters have to shake it off to get it to detach early. A hunter's movement speed is slowed down while one is attached.
