A huge Temnoceran that fused with a desert flower. It wanders from desert to desert to find a good place to root itself and grow.
The Arachia has a symbiotic relationship to a giant, flowering cactus. In return for prey digested in their shared stomachs, the cactus fires beams if pure solar energy and entangles prey in its vines. The Arachia can produce webs, but it prefers to hide underground to ambush its prey. It has shovel-like appendages on its front limbs that allow it to dig. It also uses these to stab its prey.
The sandy plains's master of camouflage, the Arachia often hides in the cactus patch found in the Sandy Plains's desert. It's plant allows it to absorb energy without eating. It is not uncommon for an Arachia to unwittingly plant itself in a farm in order to get handouts from the farmers. As such, it is found that they are actually quite friendly.
